SRCC Race Series Points Schedule 2011

Intent: Members in any locale can participate in our points program. Members can earn points at ANY race.

Participation Points – SRCC Events:

16 or greater S2000s entered:
20 points
10 to 15:
15 points
9 or less:
10 points
Non-SRCC events: SCCA, other vintage, etc. (Note D below) :
5 points

* Festival entrants receive additional 5 points

A. Members must be driving an eligible car.

B. Multiple drivers: each receives participation points.

C. # of entrants is calculated on highest # of S2000s for duration of the event.

D. A member at a non-SRCC event may request SRCC series points if there are 7 or more S2000s. May be done before the event or up to one week after.

E. At SRCC events the race chairman will submit results to the point’s keeper. At non SRCC events and those without a designated race chairman, it is the responsibility of the entrant to submit official race results to the point’s keeper within two weeks after the event.

F. Double race weekend: Considered single event.

G. Drivers disqualified due to an S2000 incident will receive no points for that event.

A. Members must be driving an eligible car.

B. Multiple drivers: Points keeper will assume it is FIRst driver listed unless notified.

C. At events with multiple feature races, the race chairman will designate the scoring race.

D. The race chairman after consulting with entrants may change the points scoring race due to weather etc.

E. Points will be scored by SRCC finishing position by class. Non-members will not be included in finishing calculations.

F. Double race weekend: best finish of the event.

G. Drivers disqualified due to an S2000 incident will receive no points for that event.

Year End Regional winners:

    A. Participation points and race finishing points will be combined per event.

    B. Only your best Four events will be counted. Ties to be decided by number of “festivals” attended and, if needed, by total number of events.

    C. Trophies will be awarded in each class in each region.
